Strengthen and support municipal government through advocacy and the development of effective leadership

Our Vision

The Maryland Municipal League is a strong organization that seeks to be even stronger. During the next three years, MML will aggressively work toward the following vision: 

• MML will reach and serve more Maryland municipal officials, ensuring they have access to the education and information they need to provide the highest level of service for Maryland's cities and towns. To increase member access, MML will fully utilize technology, deliver training programs regionally, and partner with other organizations, including institutions of higher learning. MML's website will be the go-to place for accurate, timely information and for member networking opportunities. MML's members will actively participate in a revitalized policy development process and will become more fully involved in redesigned chapter activities. Key constituencies (including legislators, other public decision makers, and the general public) will better understand the role and value of municipal government in Maryland. As a wise steward of member resources, MML will diversify its revenue sources to fund expanded service to members.
