Maxdale Cowboy church came together about two years ago.  Pastor Joe Daggs was led to this quaint little old church along the Lampasas River to share his ministry and the work of God. On Sunday you can find the church full of caring, loving people, and outside, pickup trucks with horse trailers attached and horses tied up on trees from folks who rode in.  Out on this quiet country road, you can hear the sweet voices raised up to heaven singing HIS praises.  The music is "Country" which includes Country, Gospel, Blue grass, and also your old time favorite Hymns.

Pastor Daggs always says, you are a visitor once, the next time, you are considered family. If you ever feel a pull to the Western way of life, just take a drive West of Highway 195, down the Maxdale Road and stop by for a visit. You don't have to be a "Cowboy or a Cowgirl" or even own a cow or a horse to be a Christian Cowboy. Just have a love of the simpler way of life, a love for our Lord and the teachings from the Bible.
