Mission 

To develop, encourage, and provide exposure to the diverse artistic and cultural opportunities in the region.

In 1985 the McCormick Arts Council was established to offer a variety of visual arts, music, dance, performing arts, and instruction. Governed by a board of thirteen directors the organization continues in its mission to make the arts accessible to all.
