Mission:
Our mission statement is “A Tradition of Excellence.” We strive everyday to ensure our students excel not only in their academics, but character/leadership qualities as well. It is our goal that every child will have a well-rounded experience here at McLain. We are proud to provide opportunities for our students to excel through BETA, Student Council, Jr. High Math Team, Band, Choir, Fellowship of Christian Students, Color Guard, Football, Cheerleading, Basketball, Archery, and Golf. These organizations and sports help mold our students’ character and leadership skills.

The Greene County School District consolidated and high school students now attend a county-wide high school in Leakesville. McLain Attendance Center is part of the Greene County School District and currently has an enrollment of around 225 students.
