Since 1998, Methodist Sugar Land Hospital has been serving Fort Bend and surrounding counties as an extension of The Methodist Hospital in the famous Texas Medical Center. For more than a decade, we have been an integral part of the Fort Bend community, offering both state-of-the-art technology and excellent medical care in a unique, home-like environment.
2008 marks the grand opening of our expanded facilities, which will allow our new six-story patient care pavilion to quadruple our capacity. In addition, we have expanded the majority of our services with the latest technology and expertise as well as a dedicated and highly-trained staff.
At the forefront of all these exciting changes is the one thing that will never change: our mission to provide our patients with the best, most compassionate care from some of the nation´s foremost health care professionals.
Our healing mix of values-based, personal care and service can be seen in our staff and within our commitment by truly living The Methodist I CARE values. Our employees display Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence in their daily interactions with patients, family members, our medical staff and each other.
That commitment to serving others, in conjunction with innovative technology and our medical center training and expertise, has enabled us to be chosen as one of America´s "100 Best Companies to Work For" by FORTUNE magazine. We have also achieved the Pathway to Excellence™ designation awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. This designation identifies hospitals that are the "best places to work" for nurses in the country.
