Quality is the guiding value at Miami County Medical Center (MCMC). MCMC was built and is operated by Olathe Health System, Inc., the parent company of Olathe Medical Center. MCMC is located east of the intersection of US 169 and K-263 highways in Paola, Kansas.
In May 2003, the hospital was reaccredited until 2006 by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO), the nation’s premiere indicator of quality of health care. In May of 2004, the laboratory at MCMC was reaccredited for two more years by JCAHO.
The hospital offers 24-hour emergency care by board-certified emergency physicians. Patients are cared for in private Emergency Department and inpatient rooms. Support services at Miami County Medical Center include radiology, laboratory, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, occupational and speech therapy and social services.
