In collaborative efforts between home and school, our mission is to respect the child while nurturing his/her natural love of learning.

We house all of the kindergarten children for the Brighton Area Schools. This year we have 565 kindergarteners. We have 16 classroom teachers at Miller who are all certified in early childhood. We are extremely proud of our hands on, age appropriate program. Miller students are encouraged to explore the curriculum by using all five of their senses.

We take advantage of our wonderful outdoor environment, which includes our "kettle hole", pond, and gardens. Indoors the children are kept active with such activities as music, gym, art, science, motor mom and dad program, and VMI. Miller is a very happy place to be where children are treated with respect.

Knowing how important communication is between home and school, Miller is proud of their parental involvement. Our active PTO, parent volunteers in the school, and our very active motor mom and dad program goes to prove that.
