About Us :

Millersburg Elementary School is located in the southeast corner of Elkhart County in the small rural town of Millersburg. The school serves approximately 400 students in kindergarten through 6th grade. Our school population is unique as 45% of our students are of the Amish faith.

The building was opened in 1978 with additional classrooms added in 1995 and 1998. Three highlights of the building include the library/media center which has over 18,000 books, our up-to-date technology equipment, and the MES gymnasium, saved from the old Millersburg High School built in 1938, which is a reminder of gyms used in the movie "Hoosiers.'

Current educational programs at Millersburg include Gifted and Talented, Title 1 Reading, KEYS Math, After School Tutoring (3:05-4:00), Jump Start Summer School, K-2 Reading Assistance, Band, Choir, and extracurricular activities for 5th and 6th grade boys and girls.

Millersburg Elementary is fortunate to have several parent volunteer groups helping throughout the school year with many opportunities for parents to become involved in the school.
