Our Mission

The mission of the Morton Pumpkin Festival is to "Gather & Give Back" while generating resources that allow the Morton Chamber of Commerce to fulfill its mission to enhance business and build community through the implementation of a unique event that builds a sense of community among the people who live and work in Morton.

Our Driving Principles

While planning the Morton Pumpkin Festival, organizers will strive to:

- Promote Chamber members
- Provide a safe, fun, family-friendly atmosphere for all ages
- Spend locally and encourage others to do the same
- Provide volunteer and leadership development opportunities and recognition
- Build the capacity of other Morton non-profit and youth organizations
- Celebrate pumpkin as a symbol of our community and history
- Support and promote significant community development projects
- Continue to improve our visitor experience
