We at Mount Carmel Road Church of Christ worship the same way the early Church did. We make no laws where there is none and we obey the laws and examples set for us. Below is the way we conduct a Sunday morning worship service. If you find anything that we may be doing contrary to the Scriptures, be our friend and let us know. It is our desire to do only the things that the scriptures have authorized us to do.

We open the service with a few songs, a capella only. After about four or five songs we go to God in prayer. Sing another song and then the speaker teaches a sermon. At the end of the sermon, the invitation is offered. Next is the communion of the Lords table. We give thanks for the unleaven bread in one piece, then break it and pass it to the members to partake. The fruit of the vine, we bless it in one container, then divide it into individual containers and pass it to the members to partake. That concludes the Lord's Supper. The collection plate is passed for those to give as they have been prospered. Another song is sung and we dismiss.
