Mount Vernon Elementary School is a warm, inviting school with an energetic and dedicated staff that is continuously working to improve programming for all our students. We guide our students to be responsible, confident and enthusiastic about school. Communications and community relationships are a priority. Every week we put out a School Newsletter to help keep parents and community members informed about school functions. Our guidance counselor, school nurse and other specialists contribute to this weekly newsletter. In addition, each classroom teacher publishes a weekly newsletter that is sent to all parents electronically or by hard copy.
