Natick Assembly No. 28 is part of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls that was founded in 1922. We are one of the oldest groups in the area for young girls between the ages of 11-20, having been a part of local organizations since 1929. Originally created for young women whose fathers were members of the Masonic Lodge by a Christian minister (W. Mark Sexson), today Rainbow Girls respect and welcome all girls from every religion. Our main focus is teaching girls to be kind and caring. While Rainbow practices and programs continue to evolve, the basic teachings of faith, hope, and charity remain a cornerstone of this dynamic girl's youth group.

• We do a lot of service for the community and various organizations, and teach girls responsibility, self esteem, confidence, public speaking, and relationship skills. Girls build life-long, real friendships. As one of our members recently wrote "it's a place where people accept each other, a place where everyone fits in, and keeps coming back to, because they belong."

   

Natick is fortunate enough to be home to a very active assembly. Our current membership includes girls from Natick, as well as several surrounding towns including Ashland, Bellingham, Franklin, Framingham, Hopedale, Hopkinton, and Waltham.
