National Church Residences Home and Community Services Hospice has many volunteer opportunties.  Be a part of a compassionate and important team!

Direct care volunteers provide services for our Hospice clients: read and write letters, run errands, provide emotional support to clients and family.Do you want to visit a terminally ill person for companionship/friendship? Be a friend, support, listener, a presence? Are you a good listener versus advice giver? Is office support your interest, and you can assist us in serving our community?

Volunteer Support: Visit patients 2-3 times a month for companionship/friendship

Administrative Volunteer: Assist the Hospice program with clerical needs by offering your skills and time with various office assistance.

Bedside Support: Offer care and be a presence to someone in the final hours.  Additional training provided with various topics related to signs and symptoms of approaching death
