Mission Statement of Nestucca Valley Middle School

- As a school community we recognize that the Middle school years (grades 6-8) are a challenging time of change.

- To that end, we pledge to provide and promote for all students entering our doors:

- The skills necessary to become lifelong learners and responsible contributors to the global community;

- A safe and nurturing environment in which each student can develop his or her potential in personal, academic, and social growth;

- Respect for self and others; and

- An environment of interaction among students, staff, and community members in which people can have fun, take risks, learn from their mistakes, and succeed in a supportive environment.
