New Hope Christian Fellowship

730 East Main Street
707-446-4051

New Hope Christian Fellowship began as bible studies in three homes, one in Suisun and two in Vacaville, in Feb 1994. Pastor Ben and Roberta quickly saw a church in the making and knew God was calling them to establish a new work. The first Sunday meeting was in the band room at the Vacaville Christian Academy, which is now known as the Vacaville Christian School on Easter, 1994. A family of the church had an office building which they gave us the use for an office and a classroom during the week for midweek bible studies and meetings. Those beginning days were full of excitement and the Lord was blessing at every turn.

The board and Pastor Ben continued to look for a permanent place for the New Hope family. The old Decroteque building was leased and the men and women of New Hope rallied around and remodeled the building and New Hope began to take form. Easter Sunday, 1995, we had our first service. It was not a finished building but we proudly set up chairs and had worship service. That afternoon everyone came back and we had a scripture signing. All the studs, beams, walls and ceiling, now have scriptures on them. The new home has truly been dedicated to the Lord.
