New Suncook School is a public school operated by MSAD 72. The school provides for the education of pupils in grades K through 5. On September 5, 2006, the school served 188 students.
The New Suncook School, located on Route 5 in Lovell, was built in 1971 for Kindergarten through 6th grade students. Lovell and Sweden were originally called New Suncook by the settlers who arrived from Suncook, N.H. In 1989, the school was expanded and now includes a gymnasium with wooden floor, art room with kiln, library with a "reading pit", and a multi-purpose room with kitchen facilities.
