North Woods Community Center of Old Forge, Inc. (formerly North Woods Lodge) was formed in December 2003.

The purposes for which this corporation has been organized are as follows:

To make available to the rural community space in which non profit group activities can take place.

To provide a community facility for the VFW Chapter established in Old Forge.

To provide a community facility for the Old Forge Ballet, Inc., a separate 501(c) (3) corporation.

To provide a community facility for fraternal organizations, including but not limited to, North Woods Lodge#849 of the Free and Accepted Masons and Dewey- Old Forge Chapter #449 of the Order of Easter Star.

Currently KYAC houses the teen center in the basement.
