The City of Northfield Streets, Parks and Facilities Division maintains publicly-owned places and facilities that offer many ways to enjoy an active life in Northfield. This includes over 35 parks and open spaces, pedestrian and bicycle paths, an arena and outdoor pool.

The City of Northfield contracts with the Northfield Public School's Community Ed and Recreation Department for all recreational programming that intersects with the goals of the City.
