NWCSA is a private non-profit organization serving low-income residents in Douglas, Bayfield, Ashland, Price and Iron Counties.

The mission of NWCSA is to "improve the quality of life by providing resources and services within our communities".

Programs provided by NWCSA include:  Skills enhancement, food pantry, bread table, free store, transitional housing, homeless services and prevention,, soup kitchen, community garden, WIC, RSVP, Senior Center and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance.
