HISTORY

Oakwoods Country Club is a private, member-owned country club, strategically located just off U.S. 421. Oakwoods opened its doors in 1954 and its members enjoy 18 holes of challenging golf, a welcoming staff, and a variety of social gatherings. With an over 60 year history, Oakwoods is strong rooted in the community. The club’s location is desirable due to its proximity to Boone, Charlotte, Winston-Salem, and Jefferson. Members believe that the club is more than just a spot to play golf. It is incredibly welcoming with a long-tenured staff, challenging golf, breathtaking views, and a very inviting atmosphere.
