ABOUT:

The Ocmulgee Land Trust was started in 2004 by Burton Lee as he sensed a need in the Middle Georgia area. The Land Trust has been coordinated by NewTown Macon since its inception although monetary donations for the trust are handled by the Community Foundation of Central Georgia. Upon his retirement as President and CEO of NewTown Macon, Mike Ford became the President of the Land Trust.

The Ocmulgee Land Trust is operated by its first Executive Director Kensey Rabun. Prior to joining OLT, Kensey worked in Commercial Real Estate in Dallas, Texas. Her roles include land conservation, community outreach and education, fundraising, donor relations, and cultivating conservation efforts throughout Georgia
The Ocmulgee Land Trust accepts donations of cash, land, homes, conservation easements, and buildings that further its mission.
