The Ontonagon County Chamber of Commerce's Information Center is located at 424 River Street in Ontonagon (next to the historical museum) and is staffed by volunteers from Memorial Day through the fall color season. It's a good source for all the information you need to make your trip to our county an enjoyable one. We have maps as well as brochures for lodging, dining, and places to visit while in the area. We also have information available for you about other areas of the U.P.
The information center also houses our copper boulder. While it is not the one the Smithsonian has, it is still quite large, and represents the history of copper mining in the U.P. It was donated by Tom Pestka.
