Mission Statement
The Ossipee Historical society, a non – profit organization incorporated under the laws of New Samsphire, is charged with the mandate of performing several central missions: Acquire, accept by gift, purchase or hold in trust, preserve, arrange and make available artifacts, manuscripts, books and papers which have to do with the life in the town of Ossipee from its beginnings. These representing what every day life was like in a small New Sampshire town from 1785 to the present. Also, to build, lease any buildings and hold any real estate by ownership or lease that may be necessary to carry into effect the purpose for which this society is formed.
