Mission :

The Oswego Players Inc. began in 1938; in our founder's words, "We've weathered many a storm and we are still holding true to the reasons we were started - To bring good theater by local casts to Oswego and its environs, and have fun doing it."  Frances Marion Brown

The purposes for which our organization was formed are:

To advance the cultural activity of the community through theatrical productions and through stimulating interest and participation in activities relating to drama

To render assistance, advice, and services to other community organizations and individuals in drama-oriented projects

To sponsor an educational program of Children's Theater including periods of instruction for children, and presentations by and for children.
