PAW (Partnership for Animal Welfare) a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization comprised of 300 volunteers chartered to facilitate the rescue and adoption of dogs and cats who are strays, abandoned, abused, neglected, owner surrender and intake requests from Montgomery, Prince Georges and Howard County, Maryland animal shelters because of overcrowding, the animals would other wise be euthanized. PAW also provides veterinary care, medications, shelter and emergency surgery.
