Paseo Verde Elementary School has consistently worked with its community to provide one of the finest educations available. Through the combined effort of the parents, students and staff it has been recognized by Arizona's Department of Education as an 'Excelling" school

One of the reasons for Paseo’s success is our well-trained and dedicated staff. Our staff devotes many hours ensuring the success and safety of our students. Faculty and staff members participate in monthly training sessions on a variety of topics so that we may help all students realize their potential. One of our goals this year is to improve the writing skills of all of our students K-8.

Paseo also enjoys a tremendous level of community support. Our PTSO is actively engaged in the support of our school, both financially and academically and meets monthly to discuss pertinent issues. Parent volunteers routinely provide thousands of hours of service in our classrooms, in our cafeteria, on field trips, and chaperoning school activities. Our parents and community work collaboratively with our Paseo staff to provide a safe and academically rich environment that supports the success of all students.

Our greatest strength is our students. Our students have routinely exceeded national and state averages on a variety of formalized assessments. Students have participated in a number of competitions ranging from Odyssey of the Mind and Geography Bees to food drives and athletic contests.

By building strengths in our students and partnerships with our parents and community, we are ready to STORM the future!
