About Us

 We are excited about what we do here and know that, to the extent we enjoy any success at all, it is because of the strong support given to us by the families and community we serve.

Our children are diverse and offer us a unique opportunity to learn not only academics, but also the benefits of living and working together as a school family. Please help us in our charge by continuing to volunteer, both through home and school support, to be active in our Friends of Smith parent group, to communicate with us often about your children's progress, to feel free to offer ideas you may have that would help us improve, and to tell your children that school is important. It is their "job" to come to us every day ready to work hard in school.

It is our pleasure to teach your children. With continued parental and community support, we can give the world citizens who can reason, create and solve problems in order for them to understand and lead the complex world they will inherit.
