The Peanut Proud Festival is an annual celebration that honors the peanut industry and what it means to our community. The all-day festival creates an experience like no other, on the 4th Saturday in March, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the Blakely Courthouse Square. MUSIC, FOOD, AND FUN bring our citizens and their families, our local businesses, our leaders and our respected peanut farmers together for a day of community spirit and celebration. The day includes FREE concerts, the Peanut Proud Parade, a kid zone full of activities for the young goobers, a 5k run and Fun Run for those of you that are full of energy, arts and over 100 vendors with one of a kind. The Peanut Proud family vine grows longer every year as it draws thousands of not-so-local visitors and vendors.
