Founded in 1867, shortly after the Civil War, Pee Dee Union has a great history. It has been one of the most influential churches in its area. In its 133 years, great preachers such as J.C. Levy and Thomas Dawkins have graced the pulpit as pastor.

Pee Dee Union is presently very strong in the city, and its members and pastor attempt to play important roles in the community.
