Pharoahs Car Club
We are part of a club that was formed in 1948. The Pharoahs started in Modesto, California, where the story plot for the move “American Graffiti” took place. The younger school kids in Modesto were the Faros in 1957. They were too young to be in the adult car club which was made up of WWII and Korean War veterans called the Pharoahs. The Faros were the club that George Lucas wrote about in the movie; they were his classmates. Both clubs trace their roots to years prior to the Pharoahs; however, due to copywrite issues, the movie used a different spelling altogether. Custom cars, classics, muscle cars, trucks, and real hot rods are what we are all about. We are every guy’s and gal’s secret dream! We totally support customs and the folks who build, buy, or drive them.
We are family friendly. There is no politics, profanity, racism, sexism, hate, nudity, drugs, or alcohol at our public events. Otherwise, you are subject to removal from the group. No posting of vehicles or parts for sale or any other form of advertising is allowed at our cruise in’s and family get togethers. We want this group to have fun.
