The mission of the Plantation Unit of Parliamentarians (PUP) is to study parliamentary procedure and promote the educational programs of the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP) and to further growing interest in parliamentary law in our community.

Unless holidays interfer, PUP meets on the first Tuesday on each month at 7 p.m. at the West Broward Governemnt Center in Plantation on the NW corner of Broward Boulevard and University Drive.  One hour of each meeting is devoted to an education program. 

PUP also sponsors workshops and seminars which provide training in parliamentary procedure - all training is based on the latest edition of Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised. The training is provided by two members who are Professional Registered Parliamentarians - Barbara Proctor, PRP and Patricia McDougle, PRP.
