Port Hudson CSA expects the 2010 season to run from May 22nd through July 10th (8 weeks) . We are limiting participation this year to 30 families (full shares). We expect our members to participate in garden activities at least 2 Saturday mornings during the 8-week period. Members make seven vegetable selections and two herb selections each week from a large list of varieties. Except for the last two weeks of the season in 2009, we were able to provide all with their first or second choices. We received very positive feedback from our 2009 members and expect have a minimum of new openings in 2010. Please email us to be put on the 2010 registration mail-out.

Port Hudson Organics is located just outside of Zachary, Louisiana. We specialize in organically grown seasonal vegetables, herbs, and flowers. We are currently operating primarily as a CSA. After very successful seasons in 2009 and 2010, we are about to open membership for the 2011 season. We are also open to the public when we have produce in excess to what has been harvested for our CSA members. We served 33 families last year, and currently have a wait-list, which we will open in February.
