The Port St. Lucie Sons of Italy Lodge #2594 was founded on March 15, 1987 by Joseph Brann, Florence Martino and Vincent Delizia with a total of 42 members. Since that time we have continued to grow and prosper. Our dedicated members have selflessly contributed their time, hard work and money throughout the years to make this Lodge a success.
For them it was truly a labor of love for the Order. Charter Members include: Regina Ambrogi, Helen Brann, Joseph Brann, Danny DiMauro, Genevieve DiMauro and William Martino.
Today we have a membership of more than 165 members and still growing.
Our mission is to mirror what the National and The Grand Lodge of Florida are doing and also contribute to many worthy causes like Alzheimer, Cooley anemia, Cancer and several local groups. This year we'll also establish various scholarships for local worthy students of Italian descent. Our Lodge is very active in various events:
Thursday night social dinners: have a good meal, listen to the sweet music of 'Luigi', socialize with your friends, share memories of where you or your ancestors come from and maybe dance the night away. | |
Monthly Dinner/Dances: Like the ever popular Valentine day, Columbus Day, Saint Gennaro, Saint Joseph, Etc. |
