The Princeton Social Club began in the fall of 2008. I arrived from Texas to start my new life. It was a very big change for me being a southern women. I decided to start a social club to meet new friends. I never new the club would be such a great success. I now have around 200 members and we continue to grow. My members come from all around the world as well as locals. I plan a monthly calender ranging from white water rafting to enjoying the fine art's.. dinner's..brunches..in-home parties..dances..travel..concerts..game nights..day trips and any other event's that i can create including the "2nd Annual Texas Boot Scootin Boogie & Barbecue" being held at the Princeton Elks Lodge this October 8th and open to the public. Most important the group has become family. They have supported me with my own illness  this past year and support each other. One of our members just died at the age of 42. I was touched to see the group come to his aid. Its a miracle..the social club. It has effected so many lives for the better. So many people wanting wholesome companionship and a safe place to come together and socialize with others. I came to Princeton alone. However, my cup runneth over now. I am blessed to be the President of the Princeton Social Club and have such awesome board members. One person can make a difference.
