We are located between the Village of Burnside and the Borough of Mahaffey, near the historic Village of McGee's Mills. The school is situated in Clearfield County, Bell Township, just across Route 219 from the West Branch of the Susquehanna River and nearby Route and 36. North Elementary School, which was built in 1976, is one of three schools in the Purchase Line School District. South Elementary School is located between Hillsdale and Commodore near the settlement of Purchase Line in Indiana County. It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to our charming and quaint, yet strikingly technologically modern kindergarten through grade six elementary school, which educates over one hundred and fifty students this year. Students and their families reside in areas surrounding the school, including Mahaffey, Glen Campbell, Gipsy, Burnside, McGee's Mills, New Washington, Arcadia, La Jose, and Cherry Tree.

Our faculty is a magical mix of ages and teaching styles. Collectively, the faculty holds dozens of degrees and teaching certifications and has scores of teaching experience; without doubt, we boast, one of the most effective faculties in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The dedicated support staff keeps the school looking great and running smoothly. And parents at North Elementary School are highly involved in the educational process, serving on committees and advisory boards as well as volunteering to run Little Dragon Sport programs in the community. The local Parent- Teacher Association has received recognition in the past for reaching high- academics and athletes, who strive each day for good attendance and forward progress with academic achievement.
