Rebel's Dog Park is a public dog park on the premises of the Humane Society of Harford County (HSHC). Founded by Beverly Francis, the park is dedicated in honor of her loving 14-year-old black lab mix, lost to a 4-month battle with cancer. Bev adopted Rebel from HSHC in 1993. It is through this venue that Bev hopes for Rebel's Dog Park to increase community awareness of the shelter and the many animals in need of forever homes. Rebel's Dog Park opened in November of 2006 and has been a huge hit in our community. This year Rebel's Dog Park is celebrating its 7th anniversary!
Socialized dogs from the community are invited to play off leash with other dogs and their people. The current park is separated into two areas: one for small dogs and one for larger ones. There is a double-gated entry that separates the two areas. You'll find benches around the park perimeter and plenty of space!
On over an acre of picturesque ground, families and pets can learn to relax, socialize, and enjoy the natural beauty of the grounds...and consider adopting another pet.
