It's a little odd at first, seeing a torah next to your couch. But then, our small, friendly congregation is not your usual synagogue. Feeling lost in the larger Jewish temples, we meet once a month in a different member's home to celebrate Shabbat. We're not about building funds. We're about building spiritual understanding. Our rabbi is warm, funny and engaging. Ditto for our members. Discussions are lively and stimulating. Feeling spiritually renewed, connected to our Jewish roots, we eat. Most of us live in Larchmont, Mamaroneck, New Rochelle and Pelham.
