The purposes and functions of the Republican Town Committee are:

To encourage able Republicans to run for office.

To conduct and participate in party caucuses and/or conventions.

To organize and direct general and special election campaigns.

To support and elect Republicans to office.

To study and recommend able and qualified Republicans for elective and appointive office.

To study and support or oppose state legislation concerning Redding .

To study and recommend improvements in local government.

To sponsor and encourage instructive party activities.

To generate, administer and distribute party funds.

To submit the required periodic reports to the State Elections Commission through the Office of the Secretary of the State and the state party headquarters.
