Thank you for your interest in Redwood Area Schools. I hope you will take the time to browse through our website. It is filled with information about the district’s students, staff, programs and facilities. The school district is working to provide world-class educational opportunities for all learners in the area.
The Redwood Area School District includes the communities of Belview, Delhi, Morton, and Redwood Falls. We service approximately 1300 students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Our school has developed a strong focus on math and reading education.
Our Early Childhood Family Education program is housed in the Ehlers Intergenerational Family Center and services children from birth to kindergarten. They offer programs for all preschool children including Discovery Time, School Readiness, and Kindergarten Connection.
Reede Gray Elementary School is home for students in kindergarten through 4th grade. Math is taught daily by staff that has a strong mathematics background. The Reede Gray section of the website contains information on our Mathematics Specialists, Accelerated Reading program and much more.
Redwood Valley Middle School services students in grades 5 through 8. Exploratory classes in keyboarding, health, fitness, art and general music are offered to every student. Students have the option of adding band and/or choir to their curriculum beginning in 5th grade.
Students in 9th through 12th grade attend Redwood Valley High School. We offer many advanced placement and college prep classes. We also offer an Alternative Learning Program for those students who may not succeed in the regular classroom setting.
Steel drum band, Knowledge Bowl, Academic Triathlon, gymnastics, hockey Redwood Area Schools offers the largest number of extracurricular opportunities in the area. Check out the many possibilities in the extracurricular section of the website.
