Emily C. Reynolds Middle School is located in Hamilton, New Jersey, Mercer County. The campus consists of approximately 28 acres where students are housed in one building, as well as an annex. There are 36 classrooms, 3 art rooms, 2 home economics labs, 3 technology labs, and 2 music rooms. In addition, the facility has a 2-station gymnasium, 8 special education rooms, 1 large and 2 small group instructional areas, a cafeteria, and a computerized media center.
The mission of Reynolds Middle School is to provide for the optimum intellectual, social, physical, and emotional growth for each student.
The learning environment will provide equal access to all areas of the curriculum to all students;
Provide a variety of teaching strategies to address all learning styles;
Provide a safe, orderly, nurturing environment;
Provide opportunities for social growth;
Provide a physical education program for all students to develop strong, healthy bodies; Prepare students for a successful high school experience.
We will accomplish these goals by means of a coordinated school curriculum in which a commitment has been made to focus on reading and writing across the curriculum. Interdisciplinary cooperation is a feature of the Reynolds education program. The staff and parents of Reynolds are committed to an educational program of excellence and growth for all students.
