Rio Arriba Farm
Rio Arriba Farms is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) consisting of a community of individuals who pledge support to a farm operation so that the farm land becomes the community's farm with the growers and consumers providing mutual support and sharing the risk and benefits of food production.
Rio Arriba Farms CSA represents two farms in Rio Arriba County in Northern New Mexico - Red Mountain Farm in Abiquiu and Tucker Farms in Embudo. Currently preparing for their second season as a CSA, Rio Arriba Farms provides its members with 22 weeks of fresh produce.
While vegetable consumption varies we feel that a share would provide produce for a family of four.Sample Selections Early Season - Lettuce, Asian greens, chard, kale, turnips, radishes, beets, green onions, spinach, peas and broccoli.
-Mid Season - Above items and summer squash, cucumbers, carrots, garlic, herbs, potatoes, cabbage
-Mid/ Late Season - Above items and tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, chili, green beans, corn, winter squash, melons, onions, leeks
-Late Season - Above items with the exception of items subject to frost.
New Products - When available fresh fruit, berries and herbs will be included with your share. Additional products will be made available for order with your share pick up - eggs, meat, poultry
