River Berry Farm
Our CSA is a pre-pay credit system. Members pay $225 up front and have $250 credit to shop at the farm stand for anything we sell: organic berries, organic vegetables, organic eggs, bedding plants and cut flowers. Members are issued a card, similar to a gift card, for keeping track of their credit used and remaining credit. Members can add more credit to their card at $100 increments at any point of the season.
River Berry Farm is a family owned organic small fruit and vegetable farm operating on the Lamoille River in Fairfax, Vermont since 1992. We are Jane Sorensen, David Marchant and our two children, Huck and Ada, along with our farm crew of 8 - 10 seasonal employees. We grow 50 acres of organic vegetables, 3 acres of organic strawberries, 1 1/2 acres of organic raspberries, 18,000 square feet of greenhouse crops and 400 organic layer chickens.
We market our produce through our on-farm stand and CSA, the Burlington Farmers Market, local health food stores and to regional markets via Deep Root Organic Growers Cooperative. Our farm stand is open from May 1st through Halloween from 8 am to 6 pm everyday.
