History of the Race:

The 30K distance was reinstated to the Distance Challenge in 2013 after a 5 year hiatus. Prior to its reinstatement, the most recent was the ARA 30K in 2008, which took place in the hilly Barton Creek Country Club area. Before this, the RunTex 30K ran for 7 years in the city of Buda.

The 30K race will offer a great test of fitness during the Distance Challenge, with the 10K providing an alternative option for those who want to race a shorter distance.

The races will start and finish at Cedar Park High School and both races will be run on portions of the same course.
