Rolling Ridge Elementary is located in the beautiful community of Chino Hills in Southern California. It is one of 21 elementary schools, 5 junior high, and 5 high schools which are part of the Chino Valley Unified School District. Rolling Ridge Elementary opened in 1989 in portable temporary buildings across the street from its current permanent site. With 7 teachers and a student body of approximately 130 students, we have grown over the years to a staff of over 26 teachers and a student body of more than 600 students. The move to our permanent site at 13677 Calle San Marcos in 1994 was celebrated with an exciting dedication ceremony on November 3, 1994.

Rolling Ridge Elementary prides itself on its commitment to the academic excellence and outstanding citizenship of its students. With a schoolwide homework and discipline policy, the consistency of standards is supportive of these goals. All staff members are dedicated to teaching the State and District Curriculum standards and our test scores on the California State tests reflect great success in this area. Rolling Ridge is one of the top performing schools in the Chino Valley School District with an API of 917!

We are extremely proud of our superior parent support system. Parent volunteers in a variety of areas are a vital part of our school's success. In addition, out PTA is constantly working hard to provide additional support for our student body in the areas of field trips, additional classroom library materials, PE equipment, enrichment assemblies, and more. Without our parent community, we would not be able to provide the rich, well-rounded environment to students that Rolling Ridge is known for.

As you enter the campus you will note that our school office is named the "Depot." In keeping with our train theme, each building in the school is named for a railroad and our school motto, "Bound for Excellence” is evident throughout the school.
