Our Mission 

The Rotary Club of Agoura Hills/Oak Park is a small club with a big heart. We have adopted "Music for Heart" as our international project."Music for Heart" is an annual benefit concert that raises money to help  save the lives of less fortunate children who suffer from Congenital Heart Disease.Proceeds from the "Music for Heart" benefit concert are utilized in two ways. The majority of funds generated by this fundraising event will sponsor medical training missions to El Salvador. With the help of "Gift of Life  International",an expert cardio-thoracic medical/surgical team will travel from the USA to El Salvador.  During each mission,the medical team will perform life saving surgery on 15-20 cardiac children and will begin to train medical  professionals in El Salvador who, in time, will be able to perform these necessary life saving corrective heart surgeries on children in their own country. The  remainder of the funds will enable the sponsorship of several children to be  flown to the USA for corrective heart surgery by some of our expert cardio-thoracic surgeons.
