About Us
Founded in 1948, the Rotary Club of Lancaster was the first Rotary Club in the Antelope Valley. The club has a long history and continues to support good works locally, including many scholarships to students at AV College and AV High School. We provide community service projects to help the needy of the Antelope Valley, as well as to help internationally. From equipment for a dental clinic in Tijuana, to a new well for a local family without water, and continuing projects to benefit the Local Domestic Violence Shelter, the Rotary Club of Lancaster is there to help.
Our BBQ trailer may be seen at many local and civic events, helping other organizations raise funds, or to feed homeless veterans. The combined efforts of club members support an annual reverse drawing and other fund raisers. These funds support our good works locally and internationally. We have fun regular meetings, and BBQ meetings during the summer months. Many of the members attend district and club events designed for the improvement of the club members, providing leadership development, as well as supporting the Rotary goal of "Service above Self"
