The Rotary Club of Westlake Village Sunrise has been making things better around the corner and around the world for over 30 years. The club is represented by 50 women and men who community and professional leaders from all walks of life, ordinary people of all ages, from many ethnic groups, doing extraordinary work.
This year’s major events include the 30th Annual Golf and Poker Tournament, the 5th Annual Jazz and Wine Fest and numerous other community-based efforts that support local and global non-profit organizations. Leadership opportunities extend to the sponsorship of two Interact Clubs for high school youth. This club joins other Rotary clubs in hands-on projects such as Community Clean-up Day, Backpack and Stuff-a–thon for youth along with international projects in Honduras by adopting a village and providing support for surgeries to correct clubfeet for children.
The Club supports many local and national charities including Feed the Needy, Westminster Free Clinic, K9s for Warriors, Meals on Wheels, YMCA and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. You are encouraged to visit almost any Friday morning at the regular breakfast meeting, at no cost.
Often the meetings include club business and an extraordinary guest speaker, from 7:00-8:30 at the beautiful, North Ranch Country Club, 4761 Valley Spring Drive, Thousand Oaks, CA. Once you have joined us at one of our meetings you too will discover that you feel right at home.
