Ruff Ranch Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization dedicated to bringing U.S. Military Veterans and "harder to place" dogs together in a program that will provide housing and employment for veterans and a safe haven for challenged canines.

Our goal is to rescue dogs from spending their life in cold, dark shelters or from needless euthanasia. Bringing these special dogs into our sanctuary is not only good for the animals, but will transform the quality of life for the veteran caretakers, and create a purpose for both. We are dedicated to finding responsible adoptive homes and foster homes for these underserved canines.

Animals not placed will be given a home within our sanctuary and will be cared for by veterans for the remainder of their lives. By having on-property staff, we provide housing, as well as salaried positions for veterans as well as 24-hour care for for the animals in a home-like setting.

Dogs in shelter settings are often frightened and unable to show their normal behavior. They may appear growly or unfriendly. Ruff Ranch's yards, homes, and play areas will allow the dogs to relax and let their personalities show through, helping them to become ready for adoption.
