Rupert Missionary Baptist Church is:
Baptist:
Too many of our modern day churches claim to be Baptist, but their doctrinal and social positions are far from what Baptists have stood for in the past. The Rupert Missionary Baptist Church is like the old Baptists such as BH Carroll, JR Graves, and Charles Spurgeon.
Historical:
We believe Jesus Christ established His church during His lifetime here on earth. He took men who were baptized by John the Baptist and established His church. He then commissioned that church to go and duplicate itself throughout the world. Rupert Missionary Baptist through use of the Bible and the study of Baptist History seeks to be as much like that church as possible.
Missionary:
We believe that our churches are responsible to preach the gospel, baptize converts, and establish churches in every part of the world. We believe that all men are without excuse, and that all Christians through the Lord's Church are responsible to spread this message through out the world.
Fundamental:
Certain doctrines have been labeled fundamentals in our faith. Among them are such doctrines as the inspiration of the Bible, the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, His sinless life and substitutional death on the cross for our sins, His bodily resurrection from the tomb, His exaltation in Glory, and His coming again to receive His own and to judge all people. We believe much more than these. It is sweet peace to rest our future in the marvelous grace of God.
