We help our communities' residents be the best "humane" beings they can be by providing: Compassionate temporary shelter care; healthy adoptable animals; information, understanding and education; spay and neuter programs, instead of euthanasia, for population control.

Established in 1974, SafeHaven Humane Society is a non-profit, privately funded, limited admission shelter, that does not use euthanasia for population control. We receive no funding from the government.
SafeHaven Humane Society is a privately funded non-profit that receives no government funding. Support from the community and donations from people like you help to keep our doors open to the over 2,500 animals that we take in and adopt out each year.
